Ingredients

  • 10 cups kale
  • 4 links Italian sausage
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Wash the kale thoroughly and remove the tough stems. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and set them aside.

Remove the sausage from its casings and set aside. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.

Step 3

In a large skillet or sauté pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the diced onion to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are soft and translucent.
