Ingredients

  • 4 pieces English muffins
  • 8 pieces Ham slices
  • 4 pieces Eggs
  • 4 pieces Cheddar cheese slices
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Slice the English muffins in half and set them aside.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Step 3

Crack the eggs into the skillet one at a time, keeping the yolks intact for sunny-side-up eggs. Cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the whites are set. Season with salt and pepper, and remove from the pan. Set the cooked eggs on a plate.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the ham slices and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side until slightly crispy and warmed through. Remove from the skillet and place on a plate.

Step 5

Wipe out the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Toast the English muffin halves in the skillet until golden brown and slightly crispy, about 2 minutes per side.

Step 6

Once toasted, layer each bottom half of the English muffins with 2 slices of ham, 1 cooked egg, and 1 slice of cheddar cheese.

Step 7

Top with the other half of the toasted English muffins to complete the sandwich.

Step 8

Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
