  • 4 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Wheat Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Mini pretzels
  • 1 cup Honey-roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup Mixed nuts
  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 quarter cup Light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt
  • 0.5 cup Holiday-themed sprinkles
  • 0.5 cup M&Ms or candy-coated chocolates

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, mini pretzels, honey-roasted peanuts, and mixed nuts. Stir gently to mix.

Step 3

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add brown sugar, light corn syrup, and sea salt. Stir continuously until the mixture starts to boil, then let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Step 5

Slowly pour the butter and sugar mixture over the Chex mix in the large bowl. Stir gently but thoroughly to coat everything evenly.

Step 6

Spread the coated mix on a large, parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even baking.

Step 8

Once baked, remove the mix from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes.

Step 9

Once cool, transfer the mix to a bowl and fold in the holiday-themed sprinkles and M&Ms or candy-coated chocolates.

Step 10

Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
