  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 6 pieces Sandwich rolls
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 cup Pickles (optional)
  • 1 cup Cole slaw (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Season the beef chuck roast generously with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika on all sides.

Step 2

Peel and slice the yellow onion into thin rings. Mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a slow cooker, spread the onion slices evenly on the bottom. Place the seasoned beef chuck roast on top of the onions.

Add minced garlic, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, and 1 cup of BBQ sauce to the slow cooker. Ensure the beef is partially submerged in the liquid.
