Ingredients

  • 1 tube Refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 pound Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage (original or spicy)
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup Chopped green onions (optional)

Directions

Step 1

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

2. Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet. Pre-bake the crust for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.

Step 3

3. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the Jimmy Dean sausage, breaking it into small crumbles, until browned and fully cooked (about 7-8 minutes). Drain excess grease and set aside.

Step 4

4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture into a nonstick skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the eggs are softly scrambled. The eggs should still be slightly undercooked as they will finish cooking in the oven.

Step 5

5. Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the pre-baked pizza crust. Distribute the cooked sausage crumbles over the eggs.

Step 6

6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly on top of the sausage and egg layer.

Step 7

7. If using, sprinkle the chopped green onions over the cheese for added flavor and color.

Step 8

8. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.

Step 9

9. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Slice into wedges and serve warm.
