Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Red onion
  • 1 cup Black beans
  • 1 cup Corn kernels (cooked or canned)
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Tortilla chips
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 0.5 cup Salsa
  • 1 whole Lime
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until it is browned and fully cooked, about 8 minutes. Break the meat into crumbles as it cooks.

Step 2

Drain any excess grease from the skillet and return it to the heat. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the ground beef and add 1/4 cup of water. Stir to coat the meat evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat and set aside.

While the beef is cooking, chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and slice the cherry tomatoes in half. Thinly slice the red onion. Rinse and drain the black beans if using canned.
