  • 1 cup Strawberries, sliced

  • 1 cup Whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

In a large heatproof bowl, dissolve the strawberry-flavored gelatin in the boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.

Step 2

Add the cold water to the bowl and mix well. Let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

While the gelatin cools, prepare the filling. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream or whipped topping and set aside.

Once the gelatin has cooled but is not yet firm, stir in the sliced strawberries and drained crushed pineapple.
