Place the eggs in a medium-sized pot and cover them with cold water, making sure the water level is about 1 inch above the eggs.
Bring the pot to a boil over medium-high heat. Once the water begins to boil, cover the pot with a lid and remove it from the heat. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10-12 minutes.
Carefully drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water. Let them sit for 5 minutes to cool and make peeling easier.
Peel the eggs and chop them into small pieces. You can adjust the size of the pieces based on your preference.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
