Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken wings
  • 6 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes (if using). Stir well to create a marinade.

Step 2

Add the chicken wings to the bowl and mix using your hands to ensure each piece is thoroughly coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, for maximum flavor.

Step 3

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C/400°F). If using an outdoor grill, make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Step 4

Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and allow any excess to drip off. Discard the used marinade.

Step 5

Place the chicken wings on the hot grill. Cook for 8-10 minutes on one side, then flip them over. Grill for another 8-10 minutes, or until the wings are fully cooked with a nice char (an internal temperature of 75°C/165°F).

Step 6

Remove the wings from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.

Step 7

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately. These wings pair wonderfully with garlic sauce or flatbread.
