Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lump crab meat
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and egg. Whisk until well blended.

Step 2

Gently fold in the crab meat, parsley, and panko breadcrumbs. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

Step 3

Using your hands, form the mixture into 8 evenly-sized patties, about 3 inches wide and 1 inch thick. Place the patties on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them set.

Step 4

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Once the oil is hot, gently place the crab cakes into the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.

Step 6

Transfer the cooked crab cakes to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Step 7

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or a wedge of lemon for extra zest.
