  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 3 cups Ghee (for deep frying)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the urad dal thoroughly in water and soak it for 2 to 3 hours.

Step 2

Drain the soaked dal and grind it to a smooth batter by adding minimal water gradually. The batter should be thick.

Add rice flour, orange food color, and mix well to achieve a uniform batter consistency.

Step 4

Fill the batter into a piping bag or a squeeze bottle with a small hole, perfect for making spiral shapes.

To make sugar syrup, combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat gently while stirring until the sugar dissolves.
