Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 slices Sliced ham
  • 8 slices Sliced turkey
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons Raspberry jam (for dipping)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.

Step 3

Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over each triangle of dough.

Step 4

Lay one slice of ham and one slice of turkey on each triangle of dough.

Step 5

Cut the Swiss cheese slices in half, then place one half on top of the ham and turkey for each triangle.

Step 6

Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle up tightly to form a crescent roll, ensuring the edges are sealed to keep the filling inside.

Step 7

Arrange the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Step 8

In the meantime, whisk the eggs with milk in a shallow bowl to create an egg wash.

Step 9

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 10

Once the crescent rolls are baked, dip each one into the egg mixture, coating completely, and then place them in the skillet.

Step 11

Pan-fry the rolls for about 1 to 2 minutes per side, or until golden and slightly crisp on the outside.

Step 12

Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly. Dust the crescent rolls with powdered sugar for a hint of sweetness.

Step 13

Serve warm with raspberry jam on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
