  • 15 ounces, drained and rinsed canned cannellini beans
  • 1 cup small pasta (e.g., elbow, ditalini)
  • 1 teaspoon, or to taste salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons, or to taste ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup, grated (optional, for serving) parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped (optional, for garnish) fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
