  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups cooked white rice (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and water. Stir in the cornstarch until dissolved to create the sauce mixture. Set aside.

Season the sliced steak with black pepper.
