  • 0.5 cup Jack Daniels whiskey
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Jack Daniels whiskey (for frosting)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, vegetable oil, and 1/2 cup of Jack Daniels whiskey. Mix well.
