Ingredients

  • 12 ounces bow tie (farfalle) pasta

  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz can)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 0.75 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoons dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.25 cups parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the bow tie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
