  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 leaves fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • 16 ounces spaghetti
  • 0 water (for boiling pasta)
  • 1 tablespoon salt (for pasta water)
  • 0 Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat.

Add the diced yellow onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and translucent.
