  • 1 loaf bread (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the Italian sausage and cook, breaking it into small pieces with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes. Remove the sausage with a slotted spoon and set aside.
