  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Place the chicken breasts on a clean cutting board. Pat them dry with a paper towel, then season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
