  • 6 pieces Beef round steak (thinly sliced)

  • 6 slices Prosciutto
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Baby spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 28 ounces Canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Place the beef slices on a cutting board and lightly pound them with a meat mallet to evenly thin them out, if needed.

Step 2

Season both sides of the beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 3

Lay one slice of prosciutto on top of each piece of beef. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and layer a few spinach leaves evenly on top.

Carefully roll each beef slice tightly into a roulade and secure it with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
