  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard onto one side of each slice of sourdough bread. This will add a subtle tangy flavor to your grilled cheese.

Step 2

On two of the bread slices, layer two slices of cheddar cheese each. Place the remaining two slices of bread on top of each, mustard-side down, to form two sandwiches.

In a small bowl, mix the shredded parmesan and mozzarella cheeses together.

Generously butter the outside of both sandwiches with 1 tablespoon of butter per side (total of 4 tablespoons across both sandwiches).
