  • 1 for greasing pan Butter or non-stick spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Lightly grease a standard muffin tin with butter or non-stick spray.

Step 3

Roll out the pre-made pastry crust and use a round cutter (approximately 4 inches in diameter) to cut circles of dough. Gently press one dough circle into each muffin tin cavity, ensuring it forms a small cup.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg (if using) until smooth and fully combined.

Scatter a small amount of shredded cheese in each pastry cup, followed by a sprinkle of cooked bacon or ham and a few pieces of chopped spinach (if using).
