  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee or butter
  • 400 grams Canned diced tomatoes
  • 100 grams Plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Rogan Josh spice blend
  • 50 milliliters Heavy cream (optional)
  • 250 milliliters Water
  • 1 handful, chopped (for garnish) Fresh cilantro

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, finely chopped onion, coriander, garlic, ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper.

Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated. Form the mixture into 8-10 small, evenly-sized patties.
