Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 bags Black tea bags (or any preferred tea bags)
  • 2 tablespoons Stevia or monk fruit sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups Ice cubes
  • 4 leaves Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • 2 slices Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan or kettle.

Step 2

Once the water boils, remove it from heat and add the 4 tea bags.

Step 3

Allow the tea bags to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired tea strength.

Step 4

Carefully remove and discard the tea bags. Let the tea cool to room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 5

Once cooled, mix in 2 tablespoons of stevia or monk fruit sweetener and 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Stir well until the sweetener fully dissolves.

Step 6

Fill a large pitcher with 2 cups of ice cubes and pour the sweetened tea over the ice.

Step 7

Stir gently to chill the tea. Taste and adjust sweetener or lemon juice if needed.

Step 8

Serve in glasses over additional ice cubes. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices, if desired.
