Ingredients

  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 pieces large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract with a mixer on medium speed until creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating on low speed until just combined.
