  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2.5 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter or your fingertips, work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate small bowl, combine the honey, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
