Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lump crabmeat
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon Hot sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Paprika
  • 4 large Brioche buns
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven's broiler on high.

Step 2

Place the cream cheese in a medium-sized mixing bowl and let it soften at room temperature for a few minutes.

Step 3

Using a hand mixer or a wooden spoon, blend the cream cheese until smooth.

Step 4

Add the mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, and paprika to the bowl. Mix until fully combined.

Step 5

Gently fold in the lump crabmeat, being careful not to break it apart too much.

Step 6

Split the brioche buns in half and spread the cut sides lightly with butter.

Step 7

Place the buns, buttered side up, on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes, or until lightly toasted. Remove from the oven.

Step 8

Spread a generous amount of the crabmeat mixture onto the bottom half of each bun.

Step 9

Place the open-faced sandwiches under the broiler for 5-6 minutes, or until the mixture is hot and bubbly and the top is slightly browned.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and close the sandwiches with the top halves of the buns.

Step 11

Serve immediately and enjoy your hot crabmeat sandwiches!
