Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
  • 2 minced Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 100 grams, shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 pieces Soft hamburger buns
  • 2 tablespoons, melted Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375-400°F or 190-204°C).

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened and aromatic.

Step 3

Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook for 6-8 minutes, breaking it up into small crumbles, until browned and fully cooked. Stir in salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well to evenly season the beef.

Step 4

Remove the skillet from heat and let the beef mixture cool slightly. Stir in shredded Cheddar cheese until melted and evenly distributed.

Step 5

Slice the hamburger buns in half horizontally without cutting all the way through, leaving a hinge for each bun. Gently open the buns and fill them with the beef and cheese mixture.

Step 6

Brush the outside of each bun with melted butter to help them crisp up on the grill.

Step 7

Place the stuffed buns on the preheated grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, pressing them down slightly with a spatula, until the buns are golden brown and crispy.

Step 8

Remove from the grill, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately while hot.
