  • 2 cans (15 oz each) Hormel Chili (with or without beans)
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese

  • 3 cups Cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Diced onion
  • 1.5 cups Crushed tortilla chips
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 cups Chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

Step 2

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the diced onion until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, Hormel chili, 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, sautéed onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
