Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour

  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 3 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Whole milk
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Rum
  • 1 tablespoon Milk (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line the bottom with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Set aside.
