Ingredients

  • 2 whole ripe but firm pears
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons verjus
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 6 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 cup candied walnuts or pecans
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Wash the pears, slice them in half lengthwise, and remove the cores using a spoon or melon baller.

Place the pear halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut side up.
