Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 0.33 cup Honey
  • 2 peppers Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 buns Burger buns
  • 6 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 12 slices Sliced pickles
  • 1 onion Red onion, thinly sliced

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
