  • 60 ml Milk

  • 30 grams Butter
  • 480 ml Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Start by making fresh breadcrumbs: take 1 slice of white bread and cut it into small pieces. Place them in a small bowl and soak with 60 ml of milk for a few minutes until absorbed.

Step 2

Finely chop 1 large onion and mince 2 cloves of garlic for the hamburger steak mixture.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine 500 grams of ground beef, the soaked breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, 1 beaten egg, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into 4 equally sized oval patties. Set them aside.

Peel and slice the remaining large onion into thin rings.
