  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, until softened and translucent.
