Ingredients

  • 400 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely grated
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams broccoli florets
  • 100 grams snap peas
  • 2 stalks scallions, chopped
  • 250 grams high-protein noodles (e.g., edamame or chickpea noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon of water. Add the sliced beef to the marinade, tossing to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

Step 2

Cook the high-protein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and 2 tablespoons of water. This will make the stir-fry sauce. Set aside.

Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes (if using) to taste. Sprinkle with chopped scallions before serving.
