Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground beef, lean
  • 100 grams Quinoa, cooked
  • 1 unit Eggs, large
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 units Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper, ground
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked quinoa, egg, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Mix the ingredients together until well combined. It is easiest to use your hands for this step, ensuring all the ingredients are evenly mixed.

Step 4

Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of the mixture and roll them into balls with your hands. Place each beef ball onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced.

Step 5

Brush the tops of the beef balls with olive oil to help them brown while baking.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef balls are cooked through and golden brown on the outside.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Step 8

Serve the beef balls as an appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce, or add them to pasta or salads for a hearty meal.
