Ingredients

  • 12 oz High-protein rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
  • 3 minced Garlic cloves
  • 28 oz can Crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup, chopped Fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cups Water

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the high-protein rigatoni pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the finely chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and translucent.
