Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (11 oz) Premiere Protein Shake (any flavor)
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 cup Berries or sliced bananas (optional)
  • 0.25 cup Maple syrup or honey (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then mix in the Premiere Protein Shake and vanilla extract until well combined.

Step 3

Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the pancakes tough.

Step 4

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Step 5

Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set.

Step 6

Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 7

Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.

Step 8

Serve the pancakes warm with your choice of toppings such as fresh berries, sliced bananas, and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.
