Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Premier Protein shake (any flavor)
  • 1 whole Large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Butter or cooking spray (for greasing)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, whisk together the Premier Protein shake, egg, vanilla extract, and honey until smooth.

Step 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be sure not to over-mix; some lumps are okay.

Step 4

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.

Step 5

For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 6

Carefully flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 7

Transfer the pancakes to a plate and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter or cooking spray to the skillet as needed.

Step 8

Serve hot with your choice of toppings such as fresh fruit, syrup, or a dollop of Greek yogurt for added protein.
