Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Unflavored gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons Cold water
  • 60 grams Vanilla flavored protein powder
  • 250 ml Milk of choice
  • 250 ml Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 200 grams Mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.

Step 2

In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, and honey. Heat over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin, ensuring it dissolves completely.

Step 4

Whisk in the vanilla flavored protein powder and vanilla extract until smooth.

Step 5

Divide the mixture evenly into 4 serving glasses or ramekins. Allow them to cool slightly before refrigerating.

Step 6

Refrigerate the panna cotta for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Step 7

To make the berry sauce, combine mixed berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the sugar dissolves and berries release their juice, about 5 minutes.

Step 8

Remove the berry sauce from heat and let it cool. Optionally, you can blend it for a smooth sauce or leave it chunky.

Step 9

Once the panna cotta is set, top each serving with berry sauce before serving.
