Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Whey protein isolate
  • 2 tablespoons Vital wheat gluten
  • 1 packet Instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley flakes

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, whey protein isolate, vital wheat gluten, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.

Step 2

Heat the water to around 110°F (43°C) and add olive oil into the water.

Step 3

Gradually pour the water and oil mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.

Step 4

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Place the kneaded dough back into the mixing bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
