Ingredients

  • 250 grams High-protein macaroni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 300 grams Ground turkey or chicken
  • 400 grams Canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Add the high-protein macaroni pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
