  • 1 cup Skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 large Egg, whisked
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, active dry yeast, and sugar. Stir and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

Step 2

Add olive oil, salt, and whole wheat flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

Step 3

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough back in the mixing bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rest for about 20 minutes or until slightly risen.
