Ingredients

  • 500 grams Whole Spelt Flour
  • 10 grams Baking Powder
  • 10 grams Salt
  • 50 grams Pumpkin Seeds
  • 50 grams Sunflower Seeds
  • 30 grams Flaxseeds
  • 250 grams Yogurt
  • 350 milliliters Milk
  • 30 grams Honey

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a medium loaf pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole spelt flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well to ensure the baking powder and salt are evenly distributed.

Step 3

Add the pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and flaxseeds to the flour mixture and mix until the seeds are evenly incorporated throughout.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, and honey until the honey is fully dissolved.

Step 5

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula until a sticky dough forms. Ensure there are no dry patches of flour.

Step 6

Transfer the dough to the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon or a spatula, pressing it gently to even it out.

Step 7

Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 60 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the base.

Step 8

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
