Ingredients

  • 500 grams Lean ground beef
  • 1 large Egg
  • 30 grams Chickpea flour (or almond flour for gluten-free option)
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the lean ground beef, egg, chickpea flour, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.

Step 2

Divide the meat mixture into four equal parts and shape each portion into a patty about 1 inch thick. Ensure they are all uniform in size for even cooking.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the pan, leaving space around each patty.

Step 4

Cook the patties for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the outside is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for well-done meat patties.

Step 5

Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Step 6

Serve the high-protein meat patties immediately as a main course, in a bun, or alongside your favorite vegetables or grains.
