Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Liverwurst
  • 4 slices Whole-grain bread
  • 1 cup Spinach leaves

  • 1 small Tomato
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine

Directions

Step 1

Slice the red onion thinly and the tomato into even slices.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and mustard together until well combined. Set aside.

Step 3

Spread butter or margarine on one side of each slice of bread.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, onto the skillet.
