Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F) and place a large roasting pan inside with hot water to create a water bath.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Cook while stirring gently until the sugar dissolves and starts to caramelize into a golden color, about 8-10 minutes.
