Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Whey protein powder, vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the brown sugar and stir until combined and smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Step 3

Stir in the vanilla extract into the butter and sugar mixture. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, vanilla whey protein powder, baking powder, and salt.

Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 6

Fold in chopped walnuts and white chocolate chips with a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Step 7

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

Step 9

Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes. Then, cut into 12 squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
