Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken breast, minced
  • 50 grams chickpea flour (besan)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 pieces green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, crushed
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper, ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken breast, chickpea flour, and all other ingredients except the vegetable oil.

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. The mixture should be sticky and hold its shape when pressed.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into round, flat patties approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Step 4

Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties into the skillet, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
