Ingredients

  • 1 cup Besan (chickpea flour)
  • 0.5 cup Whey protein powder (unflavored)
  • 0.5 cup Curd (yogurt)
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium Green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 pinch Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine besan, whey protein powder, curd, and water. Mix well until you have a smooth batter without lumps.

Step 2

Add the chopped onion, green chili, grated ginger, turmeric powder, salt, and baking soda to the batter. Stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly.

In a small pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle for a few seconds before pouring it into the batter. Mix well.
